From now I want to try writing what Prof. Dr. Marsigit say in
first meeting class C of Mathematic Education’13 with him and Mr Ilham. There
is some word that he said in my class.
“If you want to learn the English language, may you
understand about the strategy? If you haven’t talented for English language, you
must have the strategy how to be able and how to learn it. In here I think
about English for mathematic education. Before a strategy there is an approach.
Before the approach there is we must believe, but your believe may delighted
with your understanding or information. There is important to me to inform you,
to teach you about whatever my experience how to teach you, to learn you. I
delight the lecture who teach you have the background of English and also
mathematics. You should have mathematics education background it is difficult.
So I want to share information from very important I like
English not formal education but informal education but I like English senior
high school. Really, I’m not talented to language English but because I great spell
English to study a broad I have a propose in to be able to study a broth. Best
of my experience I have some assumption on student, on language, on
mathematics, on education. So there are assumption before believe and before
approach before strategy and finally. If you want to give something to anybody
else you need an approach because there is very important.
v First assumption is I believe you
have experience in the language English (writing, reading, listening, etc.) since
you are in junior high school and senior high school.
v The next assumption is you are an
adult, it’s mean the adult people have a responsibility to their life.
v The next assumption is we have
similar change to learn English, also still learning something including
English. You have you responsibility in your learning.
v The following assumption is you
should be an active learner. Active learner is very important because it is
inline. If you not active so you can not knowing everything.
Language is life, because of that component inside is life.
To learn language or something that is life the best method is use life approach.
So, if we want to know that something growing something life the key factor is about
process. Process and activity is very important to show that you’re life. So in
learning English there is process and activity.
In order that you perform you activities you must search
facility for help you to learning English like reading some text in English
language.
English is English, and English is language, the language is
communication. In side communication activity is reading, talking, speaking,
listening, writing, understanding, translating, informing, answering, knowing,
solving, etc. that is the aspect of communication. But from the many aspect of
communication we have choses the important one, there is reading, writing,
listening, and speaking. Learning English is to construction your English.
The next assumption is learning English for math education
mean communicating math education in English. If you want to be teacher, there
are many dialog of mathematics so you try to read it and make a comment. For

There is enough and the end I have some conclution, you have
to reading and listening some information if you find word that you are not
understanding, you have to write it and search what that is mean. With that you
can have new vocabulary and your knowledge.
